"Well..." He shifted between his feet uncomfortably, "What should we do in the meantime?"

"hmm well we could go exploring around here"

"I was just going for a walk... But if you need to stay near the obsidian shouldn't we stay here? You should save your energy, yes?"

well the more obsidian i make the faster my energy comes back to me

He nodded.
"Very well then. You may lead the way if you'd like. I've already had a little look but you'd probably like to see more of my planet."

i walk to the edge the hill we are on and look out at the land around us marvaling at the beauty of it all the ground becomes obsidian as i walk on it "this is such a nice planet you have, i love it"

Damius sighed.
"I guess it's okay... Only..." He sighed again.
"It's nothing."

"hmmm what is it, what's troubling you?"

(somtimes i like to read the yiffy RPs that are going on forums, like the ones you and Akumamika do, do you like to do the same?)

He looked into her eyes.
"I... I'm trying not to get attatched to you... Every female I've ever left has left me heartbroken, except for my mate, who died... I'm desperately lonely, but I'm scared that if I get close to you something terrible will happen..."
He looked away.
"You are beautiful... And I dont think I got your name..."

"my name is astilabor, what's yours?"

"Damius. I am Damius..." He looked at her again.
"You'd probably best run away. I'll just wreck your life like I did to all the other females..."
He sighed.
"You're obviously a lovely girl, something I am apparently not destined to have..."

"do you.., you really want me to go away from you?" i look confused and a little upset at this

"No..." He told her, taking her paw.
"But I don't want to see you hurt because of me... Promise me that you won't fall for me."
He looked into her eyes, knowing that he could never promise her the same thing. He would forever want this female, so he had to ensure that she was forever out of his reach.

i look at you even more confused "fall for you? what do you mean?"

It only occured to Damius then that he had no idea how her species reproduced.
"Doesnt your species fall in love? How do you reproduce?"

"ohh that's what you mean well yes we do fall in love as you say and we have sex for pleasure and reproduction, is it the same for you?"

Damius produced an advanced scientific calculator and quickly performed a long equation.
"Do you know go staggeringly low the chances of there not only being another race in the universe that not only speaks the same language, but comes into contact with us? My calculator can't even produce such numbers."
He nodded in agreement.
"Yes, my species reproduces sexually, and yes, they do it for pleasure."
He sighed.
"Again, I need you to promise me that you won't fall in love with me... I can't let you get hurt the way the others did..."
He looked at her crotch, still curious.
"You reproduce sexually... What sexes exist in your race? And what sexual organs do you possess?"

i think for a moment

"if i understand correctly love is not somthing you and simply turn on or off, i just happens, and as for organ the females like me have vaginas and breast for milk, while the male has a penis"

Damius shook his head and sighed.
"This is insanity. I must be dreaming."
He sat down on the ground and opened his eyes wide, rolling them back into his head.

i give you a concerned look

"are you ok damius?"

Damius shook his head. After a few minutes of this he sighed and stood up.
"I can wake myself up in a dream by pulling my in-dream eyes open really hard. But I'm not dreaming. It's the maths, Astilabor! The maths doesn't add up! The chances of there not only being another species within an applicable range is so small, and not only do you speak like us and look like us, but you reproduce like us!
Granted, our female dragons do not have breasts..." He sighed.
"Okay, let's pretend I'm not dreaming. How did your species show affection to one another?"
He held both her paws and looked into her eyes.
"Because... We do this..." He leaned in and gently kissed her, then shied away.

i smile back widely and hug you close to me before giving you a big deep kiss

Damius murred as she moved away.
"Astilabor... I want you, but... I don't want you to be hurt..." He looked very conflicted.

"well i can't help feeling this way about you damius, i... i love you"

i kiss you again deeply

Damius shook his head.
"No, you don't... You only just met me, you have no idea what I'm truly like... And you're far too beautiful to be with me. You should be with someone equally beautiful, not an ugly old man like myself..."
Still, he thought that what she said was true, and was so desperate to be with her that he wrapped his arms around her and held her close, contrary to what he was saying.
